Central Texas Veterans Health Care System has received a number of accreditations and awards. Some of our recent notable accomplishments include —

2008 Second Quarter Performance Measure Scores

Central Texas Veterans Health Care System showed the best improvement in VISN 17, with our biggest improvement in the Clinical Arena where we moved nationally from 83rd place to 47th.  We also lead the VISN in Access, moving into 21st place out of 139 for the entire VA Health Care System. 

In just one year CTVHCS has improved 100 places nationally in the rankings…from 126th (2ndQ 2007) to 26th (2ndQ 2008)!

Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)

Central Texas Veterans Health Care System has received this accreditation for:

  • Blind Rehabilitation
  • Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Health Care for Homeless Veterans Program (HCHV)
  • Outpatient Rehabilitation

A CARF-accredited organization shows commitment to continually improving its services.
