Free parking is available to all patients of Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS).

Temple:  Patients and visitors for the Bed Tower should park in the north and west lots, accessible from First Street. Patients and visitors for all other buildings should park in the south end lot, accessible from Veterans Drive.

Courtesy Valet Parking

CTVHCS provides courtesy valet parking from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Temple facility. Valet Parking is located in the North Parking Lot by the Bed Tower. Patients are advised to enter our campus from the First Street entrance, and then follow the signs to the Valet area at the entrance to the Bed Tower. This service is designed for patients ONLY, and is available Monday through Friday excluding holidays, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Waco: Parking lots are available near each building for patients and vistors.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped parking is provided marked with the international symbol of access for the handicapped. All vehicles should display a valid state hanidcap placard symbol on their vehicle.

Security

Central Texas Veterans Health Care System Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 44911 for Temple and 53911 for Waco. In case of an emergency in Temple, dial 41111 or in Waco, dial 51111. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.

Outpatient Clinic Parking

Free parking is available at our Austin Outpatient Clinic and four community based outpatient clinics (Brownwood, Bryan/College Station, Cedar Park and Palestine).
